What kind of heart worm medication should my puppy be on? recomendations? - worm medication

My dog is about 5 months from the age of six months. She is 20-25 pounds. She is an Australian shepherd / collie mix type. my ex-vet "has changed heartworm twice. She had once whip. I do not know why I care. take all recommendations of the kind you?

Have you been tested for MDR1?

otherwise be placed on anything that contains ivermectin.

You should ask your vet again. Because many breeds Collie life threatening severe reactions to ivermectin, it is better to have a conversation with a veterinarian. Someone recommended to know here, not about the fatal susceptibility Collie could give advice for your dog. Heart Guard contains ivermectin and may not be safe for the dog.
